Cheers for this modernistic! Information technology works great!
I have noticed something though: it stops my pigs from finding as many truffles. I accept 18 pigs and the average number of truffles they detect in a mean solar day is most thirty. After I installed this mod, information technology worked and information technology fed them along with the rest of my animals, but the boilerplate number dropped down to 5 full. I tried removing the modernistic and it went back upward to 30.
Not sure if this is just for me simply otherwise the modernistic works wonders (especially since I like keeping my farm artful lol)

I had the aforementioned issue. :( I have about 24 pigs in a large area, and they usually observe several truffles throughout the day, and with this modernistic installed, they were barely finding any. Information technology was really weird.
I decorate with grass all over my subcontract, so my animals are always intent on escaping to swallow the grass outside their fenced area if I'm not quick with closing the gate. :/ This mod solved that trouble, but created the truffles problem haha

it's happening for me likewise. i only have like iii pigs, simply they unremarkably find 5 truffles a day. since i installed this mod they haven't constitute any at all! :(

From a code perspective, pigs "discover" truffles by checking if they're fed, and if they're standing on a free tile. If they pass those checks, they then take a chance on every frame to drop ane. I believe grass disqualifies tiles from beingness considered "free". Pathways definitely disqualify them. Pigs don't prioritize walking over empty tiles, so if you have a lot of grass and few empty tiles, information technology's entirely up to chance whether they'll walk over one of the empty tiles. I'm guessing that's the result you're having. Considering they aren't eating the grass, they just don't have as many free tiles to spawn truffles on.

I think a solution for this would be to exclude pigs from the modernistic then? They tin can eat grass and produce truffles on the same free tile they just created, right?
